Official summary
Front Safety Belt Slips Off Belt Extender. The customer states that the safety-belt extender on the front driver and/or passenger side fails to deliver the belt. One of the following situations may occur: 1. The belt extender fails to extend. 2. The belt extender extends, but the safety belt slips off the hand. CAUSE This may be caused by one or more of the following: ? The belt extender has mechanically and/or electrically failed. ? Excessive resistance from the safety-belt reel (twisted safety belt) does not allow the belt to extend properly, causing a failure to deliver the safety belt. ? T
