Official summary
Some 2019 Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with 2.0L EcoBoost engines may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2282 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This concern may be due to an intermittent stuck open brake vacuum on demand valve causing an uncommanded high air flow intake manifold leak. Inspect the vacuum on demand valve (K2GC-2420-AD/K2GZ-2420-A). The Powertrain Controls and Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual Pinpoint Test HG and Workshop Manual are being updated to include a diagnostic routine for the vacuum on demand val
