Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that will have an intermittent pop noise from the speakers followed by a reset of the radio and clock. Technician will need to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes and also check the battery for proper cable connections. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
