Official summary
This is a Parts Bulletin: 12 Volt support batteries, part number 30659531 must be maintained 9 months from the month of manufacture and every 9 months thereafter.To maintain the battery, connect the battery to an appropriate 12V battery charger. Please follow all precautions that apply when charging a larger main lead-acid battery. The battery will self-discharge over time and if allowed to be left at a sufficiently low voltage, it will become permanently damaged. The battery must have a minimum voltage of 9 volts to be installed in a vehicle.
