Flash: 6.4L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ? P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire, cold Idle misfire (DJ,D2 or DD vehicles only). ? P030X - Cylinder Misfire (any cylinder) (Additional improvements over the last software update). ? P04D1 - Cooled EGR Temperature Sensor Circuit High.
