Liftgate Open Indicator Illuminated And Liftgate Will Not Latch Fully This bulletin involves replacing the liftgate bumpers, liftgate weatherstrip, and adjusting the liftgate latch. The customer may describe the liftgate open indicator is illuminated in the instrument cluster information center (Fig. 1) and/or the liftgate does not close fully. When the liftgate is shut, the liftgate latch engages the striker with the first latch position but does not achieve the second latch position. Fig. 1 Liftgate Open Indicator
