Official summary

Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine built on or before 9-Jan-2019 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2074, P0401, P0402 and/or P0170. This may be due to various strategies within the powertrain control module (PCM) software. To resolve this condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to reprogram the PCM and perform a mass air flow (MAF) parameter reset. Follow the service procedure steps to correct the condition.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
