Official summary

Some 2011-2016 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit a lack of power and/or illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0299 in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the charge air cooler (CAC) outlet tube assembly becoming disconnected at the throttle body or a separation at the CAC tube crimp clamp. To resolve this concern, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the CAC outlet tube assembly.Follow the service procedure steps to correct the condition.
