The engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may be illuminated on the Instrument Cluster (IC). Upon further diagnostics, the Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0496-00 is stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
