TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: VOLUNTARY EMISSIONS SERVICE CAMPAIGN - CANISTER INSPECTION AND AUXILIARY CANISTER INSTALLATION (SC184) - This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect the evaporative system's existing canister for noise caused by loose charcoal on some 2011-2016 MY Sportage (SL) vehicles equipped with the 2.4L ULEV engine produced from May 6, 2010 through November 16, 2015. If noise caused by loose charcoal is confirmed, to improve evaporative system performance, follow the procedure set forth below on how to install the auxiliary canister kit.
