Official summary
Some 2018-2020 Ecosport vehicles may exhibit the HVAC module being unable to communicate with the FDRS Diagnostic Scan Tool. This is caused by an issue with the FDRS tool. Do not replace the HVAC module only because it will not communicate with the FDRS Diagnostic Scan Tool.
