TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: VOLUNTARY EMISSIONS SERVICE CAMPAIGN - AUXILIARY CANISTER INSTALLATION AND EVAP LEAKAGE TEST (SC189) - This bulletin provides information on the installation of an auxiliary EVAP canister on some 2011-2015MY Optima (TF) vehicles equipped with Theta 2.4L GDI engines, produced from August 12, 2010 through July 23, 2015. This is to improve evaporative system performance and ensure compliance with Federal and California emission regulation standards.
