Official summary
Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 10-Jul-2020 and equipped with an electronic steering actuator may exhibit increased steering effort at initial engine start-up, a Steering Assist Fault message present, and/or an illuminated steering warning indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0131 stored in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software in the power steering control module (PSCM). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to update the software in the PSCM.
