IF YOU CONFIRM: The Lock-up torque converter disengages causing an unexpected engine rpm increase (about 500 to 600 RPM) while driving at moderate speeds and light acceleration. ACTION 1. Refer to step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the TCM. See this bulletin for further detail.
