IF YOU CONFIRM The engine cranks but does not start after an overnight or extended cold soak during below-freezing weather conditions, AND DTC U1000 is found stored in one or more systems. ACTION Connect/splice together specific wiring in the EGI harness as stated in the Service Procedure. NOTE - DO NOT replace the ECM if this incident should occur.
