Official summary
Does the front seat-back creak or squeak when you move around in the seat or get in or out of the vehicle? What s likely causing it is the seat-back fabric rubbing against the foam pad underneath. This noise only happens when the seat gets hot (the seat temperature is over 104° F). We re aware of this concern and we re currently working on a solution, so, at this time, there s no product improvement available. Until there is, don t try replacing the seat frame or the seat-back pad. You won t get rid of this noise and you just might wind up with a come-back. Be sure to pass this info along to t

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
