Official summary
Some 2021 Bronco Sport equipped with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine built on or before 26-Jan-2021 may exhibit a Check Charging System message and/or illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U012D, U0284 and/or U042E. This may be caused by water intrusion into connector C202. Prior to performing Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics, inspect the C202 connector for signs of corrosion or water residue. If water or corrosion is found, replace the C202 male side connector with pigtail kit (service part number 7U2Z-14S411-KB). To have access to C202 connector, remove the
