IDLE STOP / START SYSTEM FAULT ERROR MESSAGE SERVICE INFORMATION A â Stop / Start System Faultâ error message may be displayed on the instrument panel (Figure 1), if the seatbelt remains buckled or unbuckled over 10 consecutive drive cycles. ï · Drive cycle: Driven over 2 mph, and then parked for at least 10 minutes If the Stop / Start System Fault error message is displayed on the meter, in most cases buckling / unbuckling the seat belt with the ignition ON, or in accessory mode, should clear the message. ï · If buckling / unbuckling the driverâ s seatbelt does not resolve the issue, refer to
