Official summary

Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.2L or 7.3L engine and a 10R140 transmission built on or before 1-Apr-2020 may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07F7 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) and a loss of 10th gear. The vehicle may also exhibit harsh engagements and poor shift quality. This may be due to the sleeve in the CDF clutch cylinder shifting axially causing hydraulic circuit leaks. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the CDF clutch cylinder.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
