Official summary
Some customers may complain that the driverâ  s side outer mirror glass vibrates. This is due to a structural gap between the outer glass mirror holder and the mirror glass causing the mirror to vibrate when the vehicle body vibrates at high speeds. To eliminate this concern, double sided tape has been applied between the outer glass mirror holder and the mirror glass.
What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
