Official summary

Some 2011 2014 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with 6.7L diesel engine may experience an exhaust leak due to broken exhaust manifold studs. New parts have been released to service this condition. Replace the exhaust manifold on the side with a broken stud. On cylinders 1,2,3,5,6 and 7 use stud part number W715713-S431. If replacing the studs on cylinders 4 and/or 8 use stud part number W717172-S900 and replace both studs and install new spacers and heat shields on the affected side(s). Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-01. Part numbers: heat shield left side, FC3Z-9Y427-A and DC3Z-9A462-B f
