Official summary
Some 2020-2021 Escape/Corsair vehicles built on or before 10-Mar-2021 may exhibit a power liftgate that does not intermittently open when using the hands-free kicking motion. This may be due to the body control module (BCM) and the hands-free liftgate module. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to reprogram the BCM and replace the hands-free liftgate module.
