Official summary

FALSE MAINTENANCE ALERT NOTIFICATION IF YOU CONFIRM The customer receives a Maintenance Alert from NissanConnect Services, notifying them that the oil pressure warning light or the service engine warning light is on, AND There are no warning lights ON in the instrument panel, AND There are no related DTCs stored. ACTION 1. Replace the Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). Ensure that the customer provides ALL Intelligent Keys for the vehicle before replacing the TCU. 2. Configure TCU.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
