Some 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine and a 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit harsh 3-2 and/or 2-1 downshifts when coming to a stop in tow/haul mode or when using engine brake mode. Because this is related to a software issue, replacement of the transmission or other components will not resolve this condition and engineering is currently working on a software update which is expected to be available by the end of June 2022.
