Official summary
Complaint Staining at top and bottom of trim bars of doors. See example pictures 1, 2. Cause Discoloration of the protective coating of beltline door trim bars and upper door trim bars due to strong alkaline detergent in car washes. Remedy 1. Polish the trim bars with polish A 000 986 43 74. 2. If the complaint cannot be rectified by polishing, replace the door beltline trim bars, door upper trim bars and rear side window with trim element with the optimized parts listed in this document.
