Some 2022 F-Super Duty four-wheel drive (4WD) pickup vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a momentary, slight grinding type noise prior to the 4-3 downshift while coasting without the brakes applied. This condition does not affect vehicle durability. Replacement of the transmission or other components will not resolve this condition and engineering is currently working on a solution which is expected to be available by June 2022.
