Official summary
Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine may experience a Check Charging System message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). The following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) may also be stored in the powertrain control module (PCM): U012D, U042E, U0284, U0285, and/or U0645. This may be due to local interconnect network (LIN) circuit VE181 (WH-GN), near connector C102A, being shorted to ground near the left engine mount bracket. If this wire is found to be shorted, repair as need per Wiring Diagram, Cell 005 and secure the harness assembly away from the engine

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
