Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2022 R1T vehicles that may have been paired with a key fob with older firmware. If the key fob firmware has not been updated, the key fob may experience rapid battery drain and possible loss of function. If the key fob experiences a battery drain, the driver will receive a notification on the driver display. If there is a loss of key fob function, the vehicle can still be unlocked, accessed, and activated through other means.
