Official summary

Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some 2022 R1T vehicles that may have been built with weakened fasteners that secure some underbody panels. Heavy impact to the underbody panels could cause the fasteners to shear off and the underbody panels to become loose. If a significant number of the fasteners are broken there is a possibility that the panel could drag on the ground or detach from the vehicle, though this condition has not been observed to date in any customer vehicle. Rivian will replace these fasteners. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
