Official summary
Complaint Knocking noises from the front axle when redirecting (right/left) and driving slowly. Cause Front axle sway bar end links have too much play in the ball joint, hence the noises. Remedy Carry out a test drive following a slow slalom course. If knocking noises occur when doing so, the sway bar end link must first be disconnected at the respective side. Check for play and replace sway bar end link if necessary.
