Official summary
MIRROR, Outside Rearview - w/ Memory If the outside rearview mirror is being replaced for concern of "Mirrors tilt in reverse but do not return to the pre-set position after shifting out of reverse gear or continue to tilt downwards even after shifting out of reverse gear". Do not replace the mirror as it will not correct the issue. A software update has been released. Please review TSB 08-116-21 for the repair procedure which would involve reprogramming the DDM and PDM with the latest available software.
