Official summary
Some 2022 Escape and Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with 1.5L engines should not be taken out of transport mode before customer delivery to reduce the risk of driving performance issues such as: rough operation, idle quality, engine misfires, lack or loss of engine power. These conditions may occur due to carbon fouled spark plugs from repeated engine ignition starts without driving the vehicle to normal operation temperatures (82°C to 97°C) during cold weather.
