Improperly Installed Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve This bulletin involves removing and inspecting the vacuum tube, EGR tube gaskets, tube flange mounting bolts and possibly replacing the EGR tube gaskets and torquing the flange bolts. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set:P245B - EGR-Cooler-Bypass-Control-Circuit-Performance.
