Official summary

Some 2020-2022 Escape/Corsair/F-53 Motorhome/F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, 2021-2023 F-650/F-750/E-Series, and 2021-2022 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit an intermittent no crank/no start condition and/or an intermittent blank instrument panel cluster (IPC)/SYNC touchscreen. This may be due to the software in the gateway module (GWM). To correct the condition, reprogram the GWM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part 14F642 and the applicable labor operations of Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
