Official summary
Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E vehicles equipped with the rear view camera system only may exhibit the Reverse Brake Assistance Not Available message and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1578:78 stored in the image processing module A (IPMA) that cannot be cleared. This may be due to the IPMA software. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the IPMA to the latest level.
