Electronic Power Steering Gear If replacing this for a steering angle sensor (SAS) Fault code C0529-00 Steering Angle Sensor Module Missing Calibration Please perform a Steering angle sensor initialization prior to ordering and replacing the steering gear. This procedure should be done following a battery disconnect, or following steering gear replacement. This can be done by starting the engine and turning the steering wheel from lock to lock. If the manual procedure fails, Use the WiTECH tool; go to advance diagnostic SAS initialization routine.
