Official summary
Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0100:87 in the telematics control unit (TCU) during a diagnostic self-test. This DTC sets when the TCU does not detect a valid signal from the powertrain control module (PCM) through the controller area network (CAN). U0100:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in the PCM or TCU module, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.
