Some 2021-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0073 for the ambient air temperature sensor stored in the powertrain control (PCM). When performing pinpoint test BG in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-01, the ambient air temperature sensor/outside air temperature display reset procedure has been added to the Ford Diagnostic Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool.
