Complaint Cracking and creaking noise from area of roof frame, C-pillar (inner) when driving on rough terrain. Cause Sheet metal sections in the area of the roof frame, C-pillar (inner) could cause noises due to tension or contact of the sheet metal. Remedy 1. Remove the headliner and detach the head airbag in the working area. 2. Park vehicle in the sun/heat and allow it to warm up. 3. Then perform a test drive; the noise complaints must be reproducible. 4.
