Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set: ? U0402-00 - IMPLAUSIBLE DATA RECEIVED FROM TCM. When U0402-00 sets in the PCM, the module will start to deny torque requests from Transmission Control Module (TCM), the transmission will fault and go to a fixed gear limp-in reaction, and send the MIL request to PCM.
