Official summary
The EVAP purge valve with hose assembly installed in affected vehicles during service has not been tested or homologated with the current Engine Control Module (ECM) software. This issue has no impact to tailpipe or evaporative emissions. Install the correct EVAP purge valve with hose assembly.
