Official summary
Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2023 R1T vehicles that may have been filled with excess refrigerant. An overfilled refrigerant system may cause poor air conditioning functionality. In some cases, the HV battery cooling might also be affected, which would cause slower level 3 charging. Rivian will evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system with the proper amount of refrigerant. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.
