Official summary
Some 2023 F-150 non-hybrid/non-Lightning vehicles built on or after 01-Mar-2023 may exhibit an illuminated battery malfunction indicator and/or illuminated ABS malfunction indicator which may be accompanied by a Check Brake System message and/or 12V battery state of charge low message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3003:16 stored in the ABS module. This may be due to the state of charge of the battery. The Workshop Manual (WSM) has recently been updated with improved diagnostics for this condition.
