Official summary
Some 2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine may exhibit an illuminated engine coolant temperature warning lamp with a Motor Coolant Over Temperature message in the IPC with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0A2F:94 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module C (SOBDMC). This may be due to the software level of the SOBDMC. To correct this condition, perform the Service Procedure below to reprogram the SOBDMC to the latest software level via the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS).
