Official summary

Some 2021-2023 Mach-E vehicles built on or before 29-May-2023 may experience an alarm activation even after the motion sensor function has been disabled through the pop-up menu at ignition off. This may be due to the software in the SYNC module (APIM). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to reprogram the APIM. NOTE: The APIM software update that addresses the symptom listed in this bulletin may have been sent via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the center display screen. What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
