Official summary
Some 2024 Lincoln Nautilus vehicles equipped with the Reserve and Black Label packages may exhibit a knocking noise from the rear shock absorber area of the vehicle while driving at speeds between 8 mph and 19 mph (13 km/h and 30 km/h) on rough road surfaces or when going over bumps. If the concern is isolated to the rear shock absorber assembly, replacing it at this time is unlikely to resolve the concern and is not recommended. This concern has no effect on vehicle operation or durability and is currently under investigation. Repair direction is expected late Q1 2024. Schedule a service appo

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
