Official summary
DTCS C1B53-04 AND/OR C1B54-04 STORED IN THE ADAS CONTROL MODULE IF YOU CONFIRM DTCs C1B53-04 for â SIDE RDR R MALFâ and/or C1B54-04 for â SIDE RDR L MALFâ are stored as CURRENT in the ADAS Control Module. AND The ESM diagnosis leads to Side Radar Sensor replacement. ACTION If replacing one or more affected Side Radar Sensor(s), refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin to apply a strip of foam around each of the Side Radar Sensors before reinstalling the rear bumper fascia. HINT: This bulletin does not cover the diagnosis or replacement of the Side Radar Sensors.
