Official summary
Some 2022-2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with a 1 speed transfer case may exhibit a concern where the four-wheel drive (4WD) setting reverts to 2H (two-wheel drive) after a key cycle. This may be due to the transfer case control module (TCCM) software. To correct the condition, reprogram the TCCM using the latest version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 7E453 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
