Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit various diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the steering angle sensor. Prior to any diagnosis, determine if the vehicle is equipped with an electronic steering actuator (ESA), also referred to as the power steering control module (PSCM), so appropriate pinpoint tests are followed. The ESA is located on the steering shaft and can be seen through the left fender opening or under the hood near the driver's side frame rail.
