Official summary
On certain vehicles, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may not operate as expected. If a misfire has been identified and then the misfire is no longer present, the MIL should turn off on the 4th drive cycle. Currently the MIL turns off on the 2nd drive cycle. Affected vehicles will require a software update to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM.)
